The first commercial gem and jewelry show was created by Herbert A Duke, Sr. with the purpose to sell creations of gems and jewelry directly to the public. Today, over 80 shows and half million people in 30 major cities across US cities are involved into this bazaar.
The show has two parts: for public and trade. The ticket costs $6 and even children are aloud free with a paid adult ticket.
The admission to the Trade Room requires filling out registration Card and bring your business card and a copy of the tax exception permit with you.
The "Original" Classic International Gem & Jewelry Show, Inc. ® is the largest world show in minerals and jewelry. It also publishes one of the most prestigious trade magazines “Gems and Jewelry Keystone Marketing Catalogue” with the 85,000 worldwide circulation.
This years shows are held in San Mateo Expo Center, San Mateo, CA and Palmer Events Center, NA from 8th to 10th of April 2005.
The show attracts thousands of customers, potential partners and buyers from China, India, Indonesia, South Africa, West Africa, Australia, Poland, Russia, Canada, the American Southwest, and more.
A lot of rare and exotic items will be presented on hundreds of rows of exhibitors.
