British model-turned-actress Sophie Dahl, know as the world’s most curvaceous catwalk queen, went down from size 16, since departing for stage and screen in late 2001, to size 8 today. Such drastic change caused a stormy reaction and critics due to loss of her unique look and the characterizing words “oversized” and “voluptuous”, associated with her.

First, she shook the publics with her appearance in fashion industry in 1996, when she sparked the attention of Karl Lagerfeld and Jean Paul Gautier, being the object of controversy throughout her career, and now, after earning all the fame and love, she completely changed her image, disappointing her fans.

"She was known as the 'large' model and people expected her to stay that way, but like everyone else, Sophie's allowed to diet," a close pal of the model told the Daily Record.
