As the most romantic day of the year comes, girls' expectations for underwear are at an all time high… Guys should know it and follow the RULES:

1. Find out your woman’s bra size.

One in five men does not actually know the size her bras!  So look in her underwear taken off or ask her friend.

2. Panties: shorts, briefs or thongs? (SEE THE PICTURE TO THE LEFT).

There is a balance between what men want our partners to wear and what she likes to wear, (the survey shows the full suspenders, bra and pants is the preference, or even nothing at all!) so take notice of what underwear you have seen her in. If you don't know, drop it into conversation… 36 % of women preferred briefs whilst only 3% preferred strings, with 28% preferring thongs, whilst 8% preferring Bridget Jones style pants.

3. Color awareness.
The purpose of the purchase defines the color, seductive black or highly stimulant red!

4. Shop online.
Avoid unnecessary stress of entering the dreaded lingerie shop!

5. Buy a set:
not necessarily a matching bra and knickers set; a corset or baby doll with matching pants is OK.

6. Never buy shaper underwear as a gift control briefs, waist nippers and slimmer shorts.
