British model Sophie Dahl was once famous for becoming the first fuller-figured supermodel to trot the catwalks of London and Milan, but after the dramatic weight loss caused her to shrink from UK size 16 to size 8, there are growing concerns that she might be overdoing the dieting.

The 27-year-old felt sick at a charity bash in the Hamptons on Long Island, NY, and collapsed on the driveway after the party. The guests called the ambulance, but Sophie’s boyfriend, actor Daniel Baker, drove her off before the help arrived.

“It was very frightening,” one of the fellow guests told The Sun. “Sophie has been looking incredibly thin and gaunt for months – a shadow of her former self.”

“She hadn’t been drinking. She just looked very weak. She had just come back from modeling in Texas and was very tired. She’s not eating enough to keep her energy up.”
